SouthardHometown: Bellvue, NE
Undergraduate: University of Nebraska-Omaha
Goals for APhA-ASP: I would like to find ways to get more people involved with APhA-ASP. With the curriculum changes and increased requirements for the new pharmacy program, it can be overwhelming in the beginning. I would like to show incoming classes that it is possible to do everything the program requires you to do and still find time to get involved in APhA-ASP.
Motivation for being involved: I love being involved and meeting new people, and I love showing people how great it is to get involved.
Good things to know about me: Outside of my husband, Donnie, and my dog, Daisy, a Jack Russell Terrier, my three favorite things in life are a good run, a good cup of coffee (Crane coffee please!) and a great hank of yarn.

Charles DoanHometown: San Jose, CA
Undergraduate: University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
Personal goals for group: Streamline the operations and resources of the chapter; implement institutional revisions to chapter structure and function; outline guidelines and protocols for regular tasks so to establish a solid foundation for efficient and effective programming
Why I got involved: Service (particularly patient care) and advocacy are fundamental goals of APhA-ASP, which are two things I feel strongly about. I realized that although we as students are busy with our academics and other regular/daily obligations, we can still effect positive change without compromising our academics by getting involved in ASP. I feel that I can contribute by taking care of background work in hopes of making it easier for students to get involved.

Taylor MacKinnonHometown: Salem, Wisconsin
Undergraduate: Creighton University
Goals for your group: APhA is one of the organizations that have sculpted the pharmacy profession into what it is today and has also given us opportunities to act and promote our visions for tomorrow. My goal is that in the future we are all able to look back at the advancements of the profession and be able to confidently say that we collectively contributed. In order to achieve this we must collaborate, raise controversial issues, and not forget our commitment to patients.
Why I got involved: I hope to give back to the organizations because attending the APhA national meeting in D.C. was a great inspiration that influenced my decision to venture down the pharmacy path.
