Dave Williams
Hometown: Gladstone, Missouri
Undergraduate
: Luther College
Goals for ASP: I would like to win a national award for Creighton's School of Pharmacy as well as get more pharmacy students involved in APhA-ASP. I would also like to hold a large pharmaceutical care event at the Qwest Center in the near future.
Motivation for being involved: Aside from wanting to explore the realm of pharmacy, I saw getting involved in APhA-ASP as a great way to network with many people, become a leader, participate in various projects, be of service to others, and have fun. I am really looking forward to meeting new people and learning new things.
Favorite drug:
Mevacor, because it sounds like it could be the name of a transformer (I really like the movie Transformers).
Favorite Joke: Q: Why did the chicken cross the road? A:  To show the opossum it could be done.

Burke Wilson
Hometown: Kearney, Nebraska
Undergraduate
: University of Nebraska at Lincoln and University of Nebraska at Kearney
Goals for APhA-ASP: Serve at Dave William's beck and call and try to get each member involved and make APhA-ASP enjoyable and exciting.
Motivation for being involved: APhA-ASP is the direct relationship between student pharmacists and our future profession and I want to make that relationship a close and real one.
Favorite drug: For headaches, more cowbell.  Otherwise any drug that is highly colored or uniquely shaped.  In a community pharmacy these things make the day that much more exciting.
A Goal for Your Group: I want the committee chairs, the executive team and the members to all be aware of the committee/chapter goals and progress.
Why you get involved: I have always enjoyed leadership positions and I want to develop my skills as a leader, communicator, and eventually as a pharmacist.

Favorite joke: A duck walks into a bar.  He asks the bartender, "Do you have any grapes?".  The bartender says "No, this is a bar, and that is a dumb question."  The duck leaves and comes back the next day and asks the same question. The bartender is irate and says, "No, if you as for grapes one more time I will nail your feet to the bar!"  The next day the duck comes in and asks the bartender, "Do you have any nails?"  The bartender says, "No."  The duck replies, "Good, do you have any grapes?"

Secretary:
Ashley Purohit
Hometown:

Goals for APhA-ASP:
To increase new member involvement.
Motivation for being involved:
I want to be more involved in the world of pharmacy, and what better way than APhA-ASP!
Favorite drug:
Vancomycin because it was the first drug I interacted with in my first pharmacy experience!
A Goal for Your Group:
I want the executive team to work together to pique the interests of more new members in the various committees APhA-ASP has to offer.
Why you get involved:
I want to be at the heart of pharmacy, and APhA-ASP is in the center of it all for me!
Favorite joke:
This is my favorite that I heard recently: A doctor is to give a speech at the local AMA dinner. He jots down notes for his speech. Unfortunately, when he stands in front of his colleagues later that night, he finds that he can't read his notes. So he asks, "Is there a pharmacist in the house?"— workjoke.com
